TAMMECH R-553

TAMMECH R-553 is a Hydrogenated Castor Oil (HCO) is a wax-like compound obtained by the controlled hydrogenation of refined castor oil. It is a hard, brittle, high-melting-point product that is practically odorless and tasteless. It is supplied in the form of flakes or as powder. TAMMECH R-553 HCO is chemically the triglyceride of primarily 12-Hydroxy Stearic Acid (12 H.S.A). It is insoluble in water with limited solubility in most organic solvents.

Applications:

TAMMECH R-553 can be used in the manufacture of greases and lubricants.

TAMMECH R-552

TAMMECH R-552 is a 12-hydroxy Stearic Acid is the mixed fatty acid obtained by hydrolysis of hydrogenated castor oil. It is used in the manufacture of greases. It is a high-melting, brittle, waxy solid at ambient temperatures. TAMMECH R-552 content of 12-HSA in the fatty acid of hydrogenated castor oil is about 83-90%.

TAMMECH R-551

TAMMECH R-551, a Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (56.5% min), is a chemical compound classified as a lithium soap. Lithium soaps are a key component of many lubricating greases exhibits high oxidation stability and a dropping point up to around 200 °C. TAMMECH R-551 is a free-flowing white fine powder with greatly reduced levels of CaO, NaOH, and Mg. Purified grade is used in the manufacture of specialty greases.
