  • Reactive Amine Adduct: Functions as a curing agent for epoxy resins, creating durable coatings.
  • Ambient Temperature Cure: Suitable for curing at room temperature, eliminating the need for heat.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Provides excellent protection against corrosion, which is vital for marine and protective coatings.
  • Excellent Flow and Leveling: Leads to smooth, self-leveling surfaces, ideal for floor coatings.
  • Exudation and Blush Resistant: Minimizes surface defects and ensures a high-quality finish.
Applications:
  • High-Solids and Solvent-Free Coatings: Ideal for reducing or eliminating solvents.
  • Floor Coatings: Creates self-leveling and durable floors.
  • Protective Coatings: Used on structural steel, concrete, and marine applications for corrosion protection.
  • Industrial Maintenance: Suitable for coatings on industrial equipment and machinery to enhance durability and service life.

ACRYLIC THICKNER

Acrylic thickeners are rheology modifiers that provide viscosity control and shear-thinning properties in water-based paints, adhesives, and cosmetics. They enhance sag resistance and leveling for smooth application

Properties:

Provides desired viscosity for water-based coatings, improving application and anti-sagging properties.

Applications:
  • Paints and Coatings: Acrylic thickeners adjust the fluidity of water-based coatings, preventing issues like sagging and improving application. They also allow for more texture in artistic acrylic paints by providing a thicker consistency without reducing color intensity.
  • Cosmetics: They serve as emulsifying and stabilizing agents in creams, lotions, and gels, preventing ingredient separation and providing a smooth, viscous texture.
  • Textiles: Used in textile slurries to control the consistency and application properties of the slurry.

STYRENE ACRYLIC 50%

Styrene acrylic emulsions at 50% solids offer excellent scrub resistance, water resistance, and flexibility. Ideal for high-performance coatings, sealers, and textured finishes in both interior and exterior applications

Properties:

The styrene component enhances pigment binding, gloss, and water/alkali resistance, while the acrylic component provides flexibility and durability.

Applications:

  • Paints & Coatings: Widely used as binders for high-PVC paints, primers, and various textured coatings.
  • Building Materials: Also found in ceramic tile adhesives, fillers, putties, and waterproof coatings.
  • Elastomeric Coatings: Certain formulations are designed to provide flexibility for roofing surfaces and other applications requiring elongation.
  • Textile & Paper: Can be used in textile coatings, paper coatings, and printing inks.

STYRENE ACRYLIC 55%

Styrene acrylic emulsion with 55% solids offers excellent adhesion, water resistance, and UV durability. Ideal for interior and exterior paints, it forms a tough, flexible, and glossy film suitable for masonry, wood, and concrete surfaces

Properties:

  • Excellent Adhesion: Sticks well to various surfaces such as concrete, masonry, and wood.
  • Flexibility: Forms a tough, flexible film that resists cracking, even at low temperatures.
  • Durability: Provides high gloss, film strength, and resistance to chemicals, water, and UV light.
  • Water & Alkali Resistance: Its unique formulation offers good resistance to water and alkaline conditions.
  • Cost-Effective: Offers high performance at a reasonable cost compared to other acrylics.

Applications:

  • Paints and Coatings: Used as a binder in architectural paints (interior and exterior), stone paints, and wood coatings.
  • Sealants and Waterproofing: Ideal for making waterproofing membranes, sealants, and elastic coatings for waterproofing structures.
  • Adhesives: Used in various adhesive formulations.
  • Construction: Employed as a construction additive and in cementitious materials.

HPMC

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC)is a multifunctional polymer that serves as a thickener, binder, and stabilizer in diverse industries such as construction, pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics. It improves workability and texture and provides controlled release in various formulations.

Properties:

  • Physical Appearance: It is a white to slightly off-white, odorless, and tasteless, free-flowing fibrous or granular powder.
  • Solubility: HPMC dissolves in cold water to form colloidal solutions.
  • Thermal Gelation: Solutions of HPMC exhibit reversible gelation when heated, forming a semi-flexible, non-flowable mass.
  • Non-ionic: As a non-ionic polymer, it does not complex with ionic species.

Applications:

  • Cosmetics: Lotions, creams, gels, and hair care products.
  • Food Industry: As a vegan alternative to gelatin and a gluten replacement in baking.
  • Pharmaceuticals: In eye drops for dry eye syndrome and as a binder in supplements and other medicines.
  • Construction: In tile adhesives, cement renders, and gypsum products to improve water retention and workability.
  • Other Industries: Detergents, cleaners, paints, and coatings.

HEMC

Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether known for its strong water retention, thickening ability, and film-forming performance. It is widely applied across industries such as construction, paints, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products.

Properties:

  • Appearance: White to off-white, tasteless, odorless powder
  • Solubility: Dissolves in cold water to form a clear, viscous colloidal solution.
  • Thickening & Water Retention: Excellent for increasing viscosity and retaining water, which is crucial for building materials like mortars to prevent premature drying.
  • Film Forming: Can form a strong, clear, and flexible film upon drying.
  • Stability: Offers good stability in solutions and is resistant to salts and temperature changes.
  • Non-Ionic Nature: Does not dissociate in water, providing stability in pH-independent systems.
