  • Packaging Inks: Provide a uniform metallic appearance to packaging materials.
  • Coil Coatings: Applied to metal coils for various end-uses.
  • Specialty Coatings: Used in OEM, refinish, and decorative applications.

ALUMINIUM PASTE LEAFING

A metallic pigment that forms a reflective layer on the coating surface, giving a bright, shiny finish. Common in automotive and decorative paints.

Properties:
  • Leafing Effect: The coating on the aluminum flakes makes them float to the surface of the paint or ink during drying, creating a bright, highly reflective surface.
  • High Reflectivity: Provides a brilliant, shiny appearance and enhanced reflectivity.
  • Good Coverage: Offers superior coverage and a smooth, silver-white finish.
  • Weather and Corrosion Resistance: The floating flakes provide a tight, protective shield on the paint film, enhancing resistance to UV, acids, and alkalis, and extending coating life.
  • Heat Insulation: The material can provide good heat insulation properties when incorporated into coatings.
Applications:
  • Printing Inks: Delivers a high-gloss, metallic effect for premium and eye-catching packaging and decorative printing.
  • Plastic Masterbatches: Used to enhance the surface appearance of plastic products with a smooth, uniform, and bright finish.
  • Anti-Corrosive Coatings: Protect metal structures from rust and weathering.
  • Roof Coatings: Provide a reflective, heat-insulating barrier for roofs.
  • Industrial & Coil Coatings: Used on a variety of industrial applications, including tank and pipe coatings.
  • Aerosol Finishes: Add a metallic finish to aerosol-applied products.
  • Leather Finishing: Applied to leather products for a decorative metallic finish.

ZINC PHOSPHATE

A white, non-toxic anti-corrosive pigment widely used in primers and coatings. It offers excellent adhesion and rust prevention for metal surfaces.

Properties:
  • Corrosion Inhibition: It forms a dense, insoluble, and protective layer on metal surfaces, acting as a barrier against moisture and aggressive chemicals.
  • Adhesion: Zinc phosphate coatings exhibit good adhesion to various metal substrates, ensuring the protective layer stays intact.
  • Chemical Stability: It is a stable compound, compatible with different paint binders and resin systems.
  • Physical Form: It typically appears as a white crystalline powder.
  • Insolubility: It is insoluble in water but can dissolve in strong acids.
  • Other Properties: It also possesses properties such as wear resistance and lubricity when used in specific applications.
Applications:
  • Paints & Coatings: Used as a pigment and corrosion inhibitor in primers for automotive, industrial, and constructional steel.
  • Dental Cements: Utilized in dentistry to cement crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances.
