TAMMECH R-120 is a shear-stable amorphous olefin copolymer intended for use as a viscosity index improver to formulate multi-grade crankcase and industrial oils. TAMMECH R-120, in bale form, presents high oil solubility in various types of base stocks and provides good viscosity effectiveness. TAMMECH R-120 has very good low-temperature properties; when combined with suitable pourpoint depressants like TAMMECH K 501, the product has good shear stability.
